The 2024 Summer Olympics are officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad. Having played host in 1900 and 1924, 2024 will see Paris become the second city to host the Olympics three times, after London.
適逢巴黎奧運會開幕倒計時兩周年，巴黎奧組委于25日公布了2024年巴黎奧運會與殘奧會的口號“Ouvrons Grand Les Jeux”，翻譯成英文是“Games Wide Open”，中文則是“奧運(yun)更開放”。
With two years to go from the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, organizers on Monday revealed "Ouvrons Grand Les Jeux", meaning "Games Wide Open", as the shared slogan for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
巴黎奧組委在官方聲明中表示：
"It is an invitation to the world to come and experience new emotions together. Our Games are the commitments of new experiences and big thrills," the organizers said.
“這(zhe)是(shi)一(yi)份向(xiang)全世界(jie)發出(chu)的邀請，來共(gong)同體驗(yan)這(zhe)次全新的激(ji)情，巴黎(li)奧(ao)運會(hui)注定將帶(dai)來振奮人心的新體驗(yan)。”
對于這句口號的含(han)義，巴黎奧組(zu)委主席埃斯坦蓋（Tony Estanguet）解讀(du)道：
"It’s a power. The power to open our hearts and minds, to stop seeing differences as obstacles. It is also a dream, a dream shared by everyone who is building these Games. It is a collective ambition, to open the Games, to showcase to the world the best of France especially its boldness, its creativity and innovative spirit that makes up our country's identity."
